SCOTLAND
Pilot Guides DVD
Megan McCormick is the lucky traveller who gets to experience some of the stunning sights, sounds and experiences of Scotland in this Pilot Guides DVD.
From Glasgow, where she attempts to come to grips with the local accent, to Sterling and the birthday of William Wallace, a.k.a. "Braveheart" Megan travels north to the highlands and the islands.
She rides on the West Highland railway - one of the world's most scenic train journeys, and takes a ferry to the Isle of Skye.
Back on the mainland, Megan visits the solemn battlefield of Culloden, and travels on a former Black Sabbath tour bus to Loch Ness.
Megan also calls in at Aberdeen and the Orkney Islands before returning south to play golf (after a fashion) at St Andrews, and finally to Edinburgh for its famous festival and the military tattoo.
Throughout her travels the camera lingers on some jaw-dropping scenery of mountains, lochs and castles. In contrast to this Megan partakes in some whiskey tasting, Highland Games and finally has fun at the Edinburgh Festival.
If this doesn't make you want to head off to Scotland to experience it for yourself, nothing will.
